Montana Sky Series

Nick Sanders has loved Elizabeth since he first glimpsed her portrait - not that he dare admit it. Eve Dallas is a New York police lieutenant hunting for a ruthless killer. In over 10 years on the force, she's seen it all - and knows that her survival depends on her instincts. And she's going against every warning telling her not to get involved with Roarke, an Irish billionaire - and suspect in Eve's murder investigation.

But passion and seduction have rules of their own, and it's up to Eve to take a chance in the arms of a man she knows nothing about - except the addictive hunger of needing his touch. Bertha Bucholtz returns to her St. Louis home after an unsuccessful stay at the mail-order bridal agency.

Her family house is overflowing with her thin, beautiful sisters and their many suitors, and shy, overweight Bertha is lost among the chaos. Even her baking skills - so praised at the agency - aren't special, for her six sisters and her mother are also excellent cooks. Desperate to be living on her own, Bertha searches for a job as a cook but with little success.

The ex-Confederate general wants nothing more to do with commanding men and confronting the tough truths of leadership. Rachel Davenport possesses skills unlike those of her Boston socialite peers. Come celebrate the holidays in Sweetwater Springs, Montana, as 10 western romance authors join New York Times best-selling author Debra Holland in telling 14 short stories of love and laughter, heartbreak and healing, and most of all, Christmas joy.

After a grizzly bear kills Antonia Valleau's trapper husband, she packs her few worldly possessions, leaves her home in the mountains of Montana, and treks to nearby Sweetwater Springs, seeking work to provide for her two young sons. When Luke McCutcheon finds Faith Brown about to give birth in her rickety wagon, his first instincts are to ride for help.

Instead, he stays and delivers a beautiful baby girl. Unable to leave the pretty young widow and her little son and newborn unprotected in the Montana wilderness, he brings them along on his family's cattle drive, to the absolute delight of the other friendly cowboys. An ancient book, a power untouched, and a heart unloved lead Keelin O'Brien from her graduate studies in Boston to a small village on the coast of Southern Ireland. Determined to unearth the secrets lying hidden in the enchanted waters of the cove, Keelin has little time for a surly Irishman who infuriates her during the day and haunts her fantasies at night.

Clare MacBride has her life in exactly the order she wants it. In a year, she'll have finished her geology dissertation, though she's no closer to figuring out the answer to one question that plagues her. Why does she feel stones pulse with energy? A centuries-old curse, a mysterious faction of protectors, and a mythological godstone all sound like old world fairytale nonsense to Clare.

It only takes one rainy evening with a silver-eyed fae and a handsome stranger promising protection to rock her world forever. A captive God who must be freed. An Evil God set to enslave the world of Kimtair. A hero and two heroines from Earth join forces with Kimtair's warrior-princess and princes to battle the Evil One's minions. I love Deborah Holland's books. However she totally surprised me and I had to keep listening until I finish the trilogy!

The writing was so good that I actually could imagine the world that she creates and the characters come to life! You have got to read this trilogy, you will not be disappointed! As in the first two books, the third book starts with a present-day person from Earth entering a mysterious building out in the middle eastern desert. Rumors abound in the area regarding these ruins. It is said that once you go in you won't come out. Sadie has nothing left to lose. Her beloved grandmother just passed away and the last thing she asked was for Sadie to return a medallion. After much searching Sadie finds herself in the desert with the medallion guiding her way.

Up until a recent injury, Sadie was training for the Olympics in fencing. Now she knows she is physically unable to do that. She enters the building and finds herself meeting a goddess, the same goddess that transported the other two Earthlings from books 1 and 2.

She too is transported to yet another location on the faraway world of Kimtair. Everything here is different and she discovers that not only does this world contain the goddess she met but that there are actually 6 gods and goddesses in total. Warring gods and goddesses, Oh My! It will take Sadie and the characters from the first two books to straighten out this mess and bring peace to all.

Harvest of Dreams

Most importantly, can a person that has committed evil be redeemed? If you could sum up Harvest of Dreams in three words, what would they be? Gods fight sometimes Who was your favorite character and why? She was courageous and selfless. To go from being an Olympic caliber swordswoman to a valiant warrior, by choice, to help people from another world, is incredibly brave. Which scene was your favorite? The tsunami when they were fighting the pirates. Did you have an extreme reaction to this book?

Did it make you laugh or cry? Several scenes were poignant, though I didn't cry. The final battle, when the arch-priestess finally realizes she's being duped by her God, was intense. Any additional comments? I thoroughly enjoyed this trilogy, and would recommend it to anyone who likes fantasy. The book was very well written, and the narration was excellent. I loved all three in the audio version with Noah Michael Levine as the narrator. Between Ms Holland's amazingly descriptive writing and Mr.

Levine's talent, this entire series is a winner!

Debra Holland

Highly recommend!! This final installment takes everything from the first two books and brings it all crashing together and leaves you breathless. There is more love, more epic battles and even more depth into our villainess.

It saddens me that this series has come to an end. I have never read such beautiful books that combine so many beliefs, worlds, and characters and does so seamlessly.

https://grupoavigase.com/includes/302/1732-tarot-travaille-gratuit.php It has been such a grand adventure and the characters left such an impression on me. These stories have all been magical and filled with imagery so colorful and artistic that you can imagine these places clearly and wish you could become part of their world!

More titles to consider

What did you love best about Harvest of Dreams? Debra has created an original, magnificent fantasy world with lavender skies, two moons, gods, goddesses, romance, suspense, and both good and evil. We welcome back Princess Daria and Khan and Prince Indaran and Jasmine who all also figure prominently in this conclusive episode - it was so good to see them all together.

I also enjoyed the return of the monkey bats and Jasmine's animal companion. What other book might you compare Harvest of Dreams to and why? The two preceding books in this trilogy come to mind right away. Debra's imaginative world also reminds me of that of Julie Kagawa's world in her Iron Fey series.

Noah Michael Levine continues as the narrator. As he has with each installment, he does an excellent job of bringing the characters to life, while differentiating between them and capturing their fears, angst and caring in his voice. Under his care, the story flows smoothly keeping listeners spellbound. I was not acquainted with his work before I started this series, but I have thoroughly enjoyed his narration and will definitely look for other works that he has narrated in the future.

Another example was the communal Che-da-wah.
